Welcome to Bods

BODS is a Sydney based social golf club that was started to enable a few mates to have an opportunity to catch up for a regular beer and a game of golf. We play at different courses each month and have events and formats that give everyone an opportunity to win. 

The club owes much of it's success and longevity to Scott (The Dog) Muir, who put in countless hours of his own time to get the idea off the ground and give it the momentum over the  last 22 years and counting. Scott was elected as a Life Member in December 2019.

Membership has surged in the last few years and at the end of 2024 we have 26 paid members

Membership limit will be set at 30 for 2025 so we have a few spots available.

We ask all players to pay up front at the first game of the year.

Horrie wins big but JB WINS EVERYTHING ELSE.

Well great roll up of 17 today on a very good course and a great match up in the Archer Cup.

The Archer Cup again lived up to its hype. Again it went down to the wire with Captains winning 5-4 and the MVP this year has gone to Josh Peterson who had a big win over Scotty McCulloch. Chris Smith had his first win as president. The photo above shows a very happy Tytrone ford but he did get beat.Captains now have a 12-10 lead.

Firstly congrats to Horrie O'Shea who was the only one to break handicap today and some very big drives were on display.

As for some of the others there was some very poor efforts including Tyrone who won the Chips on a countback. 

Congrats to JB- John Bruker who won the point score coming from 2 points down to pass Tyrone Ford and win. It does help he is unemployed and playing lots of golf. Will need a van to carry prizes home from Xmas Cheer day.

A big thank you to Mr Grumpy Mick Smith who played ranger still trying gto work out what he did Ha Ha.

We play 12 times a year on Sunday mornings and a weekend tour away in 11-12 October 2025.

The social club is based in Sydney and games take place at various courses around the Sydney suburbs.  

We have bookings for 20 players. 

Players from the last game get first preference but they still must RSVP as normal. All others still need to RSVP once the invite comes out. There are no verbals to the Dog I have a terrible memory.
