Welcome to Bods

BODS is a Sydney based social golf club that was started to enable a few mates to have an opportunity to catch up for a regular beer and a game of golf. We play at different courses each month and have events and formats that give everyone an opportunity to win. 

The club owes much of it's success and longevity to Scott (The Dog) Muir, who put in countless hours of his own time to get the idea off the ground and give it the momentum over the  last 22 years and counting. Scott was elected as a Life Member in December 2019.

Membership has surged in the last few years and as at 2026 we have 29 members.

Membership limit will be set at 32 for 2026 so there 3 spots available.

28 players are already financial for 2026.

 Georges River washed out again.

 

Well this is the 3rd time we have been washed out at Georges River and yes it is a club record.

So we can quickly turn to the next game on 15th February at Massey Park and we will play a par event.  The rules for par events can be found on this website.

All those that were down to play and there was 20 before the rain will get an automatic start for Massey Park but you still need to let us know via rsvp out soon. That leaves us only 4 spots so others get in quick. 

The fines are back in 2026 and already have a list to penalise at next game. 

 

Finally we will accept anyone interested in joining the Bods Tour next year that hasnt been again just let me know.

Membership for 2026

We have 29 members paid up for season 2026 so we have only 3 membership spots available.

We play 12 times a year on Sunday mornings and a weekend tour away on 10-11 October 2026

The social club is based in Sydney and games take place at various courses around the Sydney suburbs.  

We have bookings for 20 or 24 players. 

Players from the last game get first preference but they still must RSVP as normal. All others still need to RSVP once the invite comes out. There are no verbals to the Dog I have a terrible memory.

We also have a Whatsapp group and Facebook page that provides plenty of fun.
