Welcome to Bods

BODS is a Sydney based social golf club that was started to enable a few mates to have an opportunity to catch up for a regular beer and a game of golf. We play at different courses each month and have events and formats that give everyone an opportunity to win. 

The club owes much of it's success and longevity to Scott (The Dog) Muir, who put in countless hours of his own time to get the idea off the ground and give it the momentum over the  last 22 years and counting. Scott was elected as a Life Member in December 2019.

Membership has surged in the last few years and as at 2026 we have 29 members.

Membership limit will be set at 32 for 2026 so there 3 spots available.

28 players are already financial for 2026.

NATHAN BAZ BARRY WINS MAIDEN BODS TITLE

Well done to Nathan Barry who won his first BODS titlea aftert only 7 games his handicap is coming down fast and he is way ahead on the point score. 

He beat Chris Smith back from long injury just before the tour he couldnt get any handbrake oil from his brother Mick who is now number 1 ranked player this month.

Chris played his 200th game well done the 3rd to make that milestone.

We had another player join the cripple injury group with Victor the inflictor pulling out with a bad back hope you recover quickly .

Ther was some terrible putting today lots of 4 putts we missed out on a lot of money for the fines. Shieldsy a strong contributor.

We are now fast approaching the Bods tour 10-11 October 2026 with Louies Red wine club going down on the friday night, We ask that we get $350 from each player send to Mick Smiths account- bsb 923100 acct 49405558 nd send email to confirm. BODS guide sheet will be out after game at Fox Hills.

Fox Hills will be our annual Life Members trophy day lots of fun with our  Skins and survivor games. tee time is 6.50 on 20th September 2026 RSVP now.

We will be playing our 300th game at Gerringong good excuse to celebrate.

Membership for 2026

We have 29 members paid up for season 2026 so we have only 3 membership spots available.

We play 12 times a year on Sunday mornings and a weekend tour away on 10-11 October 2026

The social club is based in Sydney and games take place at various courses around the Sydney suburbs.  

We have bookings for 20 or 24 players. 

Players from the last game get first preference but they still must RSVP as normal. All others still need to RSVP once the invite comes out. There are no verbals to the Dog I have a terrible memory.

We also have a Whatsapp group and Facebook page that provides plenty of fun.
