Welcome to Bods

BODS is a Sydney based social golf club that was started to enable a few mates to have an opportunity to catch up for a regular beer and a game of golf. We play at different courses each month and have events and formats that give everyone an opportunity to win. 

The club owes much of it's success and longevity to Scott (The Dog) Muir, who put in countless hours of his own time to get the idea off the ground and give it the momentum over the  last 22 years and counting. Scott was elected as a Life Member in December 2019.

Membership has surged in the last few years and as at 2026 we have 29 members.

Membership limit will be set at 32 for 2026 so there 3 spots available.

28 players are already financial for 2026.

Big Louie smashes all to win.

A good roll up today at Massey Park a couple of key people missing who will not be named.

A great day with 9 players breaking handicap including Chippy who moved back into the fifties.

Big Louie was the star witha massive round and some other good scores from Cheney, Bruker and of course Chippy.

Not a great day for Xmas Cheer Dasy winner Tyrone who got the chips . 

We may have to start fining those that don't turn up as we lost 5 in the last week.

So the big question was where were the Smiths? Were they practising for the games ahead we will never know as only the smiths will know.

The fines were a big hit today and we are off to a great start for the season.

Chris Smith has retained his No 1 ranking but the chasers are getting closer.

Next round is the first round of the match play  so get your rsvp in early so we can sort out a draw based on ranking standings.

 

Finally we will accept anyone interested in joining the Bods Tour this year.

Membership for 2026

We have 29 members paid up for season 2026 so we have only 3 membership spots available.

We play 12 times a year on Sunday mornings and a weekend tour away on 10-11 October 2026

The social club is based in Sydney and games take place at various courses around the Sydney suburbs.  

We have bookings for 20 or 24 players. 

Players from the last game get first preference but they still must RSVP as normal. All others still need to RSVP once the invite comes out. There are no verbals to the Dog I have a terrible memory.

We also have a Whatsapp group and Facebook page that provides plenty of fun.
