Welcome to Bods

BODS is a Sydney based social golf club that was started to enable a few mates to have an opportunity to catch up for a regular beer and a game of golf. We play at different courses each month and have events and formats that give everyone an opportunity to win. 

The club owes much of it's success and longevity to Scott (The Dog) Muir, who put in countless hours of his own time to get the idea off the ground and give it the momentum over the  last 22 years and counting. Scott was elected as a Life Member in December 2019.

Membership has surged in the last few years and as at October 2025 we have 30 paid members and only 2 unfinancial.

Membership limit will be set at 32 for 2025 so there are no spots available.

We ask all unfinancial players to pay up front at the next game of the year that you play.

Well what a day a great rollup of 18 and even Captain Snooze Schweizer made it thanks to his new Bods Alarm clock.

Well done to the Captains Team who won 5-4 for the second year in a row and with big thanks to Dog who copped a penalty on the second last hole. Thanks to Whats app i will not be able to forget this for a long time.

The mvp will be shared this year between Matt Spalding and George El Amal who both had big wins that clinched the win for the Captains team.

Archer Cup is one of Tyrones favourite days especially when we shout the winner.

Congrats to Glenn Dufty who on the course said he was scratch all day i will hate to see your score when you play good.

The fines were back in vogue today with many cards in complete please make sure you check before handing in.

We announced today that due to fines, refund from Bods Tour and donation fron club for the other 12 members we havde paid everyones membership fees for next year.

We will also pay for all carts at Xmas Cheer Day and put some money on the bar for a drink so organise a lift as it is always a good day.

Remember to bring a Kris Kringle gift minimum value $15. If you forget head to the Proshop.

As most are aware we have a Whats app group which is driving me crazy but is a lot of fun. I added miore today but some of you need to give me your phone number.

This week i will send email on calendars /player stats etc so you can all see how good you are or think you are

Membership is Closed for 2025

We have 32 members for season 2025 so unfortunately at this stage we are closing our membership for this year.

We play 12 times a year on Sunday mornings and a weekend tour away in 11-12 October 2025.

The social club is based in Sydney and games take place at various courses around the Sydney suburbs.  

We have bookings for 20 or 24 players. 

Players from the last game get first preference but they still must RSVP as normal. All others still need to RSVP once the invite comes out. There are no verbals to the Dog I have a terrible memory.
