Welcome to Bods

BODS is a Sydney based social golf club that was started to enable a few mates to have an opportunity to catch up for a regular beer and a game of golf. We play at different courses each month and have events and formats that give everyone an opportunity to win. 

The club owes much of it's success and longevity to Scott (The Dog) Muir, who put in countless hours of his own time to get the idea off the ground and give it the momentum over the  last 22 years and counting. Scott was elected as a Life Member in December 2019.

Membership has surged in the last few years and as at October 2025 we have 30 paid members and only 2 unfinancial.

Membership limit will be set at 32 for 2025 so there are no spots available.

We ask all unfinancial players to pay up front at the next game of the year that you play.

MARCEL STEPS UP AND WINS AT FOX HILLS

With 12 players and 10 backing up from the Tour it was a keen group playing at Fox Hills.

Brett White who has been in poor form stormed back witha great 43 points. Special mention to Matt Spalding who has his handicap down to 39 for the first time.

On the other hand Chris Smith did not continue his tour form and won the wig and the skins for a rare TIME.

Congrats to Tyrone Ford and Brett White winning the 2 ball multiplier. It was the second year in a row for Tyrone.

A big thank you to all life members who sponsored the day becoming a popular event on the calendar.

We picked up a new Bods word today- Tempo ask John Bruker what it meansd he is our ideas man.

I think Jason Schweizer needs to ask for a new alarm clock for Xmas. His current one is not working.

Next game is the Archer Cup at Bexley but we only have 20 spots available so get in early.

Next game is at Bexley on 16 November 2025 6.30am start.

Membership is Closed for 2025

We have 32 members for season 2025 so unfortunately at this stage we are closing our membership for this year.

We play 12 times a year on Sunday mornings and a weekend tour away in 11-12 October 2025.

The social club is based in Sydney and games take place at various courses around the Sydney suburbs.  

We have bookings for 20 or 24 players. 

Players from the last game get first preference but they still must RSVP as normal. All others still need to RSVP once the invite comes out. There are no verbals to the Dog I have a terrible memory.
